SECAUCUS, NJ, June 26, 2008 -- The Consensus Mock Draft is a compilation of the best mock drafts around the web. We bring them together to come up with a good estimate of how the draft could play out.
It's Draft Day, and with rumors flying, there are some certainties and some big questions.
Derrick Rose is a true consensus to be the No. 1 pick, with all of our 13 mock drafts having him pencilled in at the top spot. Michael Beasley, therefore, is the overwhelming favorite to go No. 2 to the Heat. Of course, with Udonis Haslem currently manning the four in Miami, that opens up the possibility of a major trade, which could shake things up dramatically.
After the top two, there's not much certainty, other than Joe Alexander landing in Milwaukee at pick No. 8. It seems that the teams like Memphis, Seattle and are the wildcards. The reported trade of T.J. Ford to Indiana could certainly effect the Pacers' own pick as well as ones after theirs.
