Career Highlights: In just two seasons, climbed to third place on Bradley’s career blocks list with 147. Ranks 10th in Missouri Valley history in blocks. His career field goal percentage (.554) ranks second in school history.

Sophomore (2005-06): Led the Missouri Valley Conference in blocks (2.9 bpg) and was named the MVC Defensive Player of the Year. His 72 blocks were good for third on Bradley’s single-season blocks list. Averaged 14.7 points and 10.3 rebounds against Kansas, Pittsburgh and Memphis as the Braves advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament. Nearly posted the second triple-double in school history, tallying 19 points, six rebounds and nine blocks against Tennessee Tech. Grabbed 19 rebounds to go with 14 points against Wichita State. Scored a season-high 28 points against Pittsburgh.

Freshman (2004-05): Became the second freshman in Missouri Valley history to lead the conference in blocks (2.8 bpg), joining Benoit Benjamin (Creighton). Finished second in the MVC in rebounding (7.4 rpg). Set Bradley’s freshman record for blocks (75), four shy of the single-season school record. Led Bradley and finished second in the MVC in double-doubles with six. Scored in double-figures in his last five games, including a 15-point, 14-rebound effort against Indiana State in the MVC Tournament.

Strengths: Uses exceptionally large wingspan to block shots and snatch rebounds. Has good agility for a seven-footer and runs the court well. Low-post game continues to show improvement.

Personal: Son of Patrick O’Bryant and Kim Gadison. Loves to cook. Completed an internship last spring by working in the kitchen at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse in Peoria, Ill. Favorite movies are “The Shawshank Redemption” and “Finding Nemo.” Favorite sports movie is “Remember the Titans.” Majoring in Family and Consumer Science.
